Hello - ¡Hola! - Merhaba - Bonjour - Guten Tag - 你好 - السلام عليكم

Welcome to my portfolio!

Thank you for stopping by.

It was in childhood that I first became interested in photography. The images I saw in National Geographic Magazine aroused in me a curiosity that never stopped. Nature, culture, stories, faces... fascinating slices of life happening all around the world.

Years later I began to make photos. In 2008 I took some shots of the Rocky Mountains and it got me interested in landscape photography.

During that same trip I ended up at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. There were demonstrators and riot police everywhere. There was energy in the air like I had never felt before.

These experiences are the roots of my current photography. Seeing such different things than I was used to left me feeling obliged to capture that essence to show my friends and family. I was hooked and I had a lot to learn.

In 2009, a friend and I documented a two-month adventure across the United States.

In 2010 I documented a trip to the Gulf Oil Spill. Not the best work, but the hobby was becoming something more.

In 2011 I bought my first DSLR. The first thing I covered was the Scott Walker recall election in Wisconsin.

In 2012 I began to travel the world. ...for many reasons, not just photography. This is when I got into street photography and travel photography in a broader sense.

Now my focus is on refining my areas of concentration within travel photography. As always, there's more coming soon!
